Jane in NC
Robert Krulwich had a marvelous story on NPR's morning edition today. He interviews author Robert Holmes who recounts a tale from his book Age of Wonder, namely the story of Humphrey Davy and laughing gas--and how scientists of the 18th century experimented on themselves. The recording lasts seven minutes--a good break if your student needs one. The written story here. Click on "listen" to hear it.
