hsmom
My son is not really ready for easy readers yet, but needs more reading material. Like more phonics readers and such. Any suggestions?
hophr5
www.starfall.com This is one of the best websites I have found. There are several different activities and various levels. One reason I love it is while the kids are reading the books online, they can place the mouse over the word and starfall will sound out the word and help the child, so they are getting the correct word with sounds. They also have worksheets that go along with each story. Hope it helps!!
BlessedMom
My child really enjoyed the "Now I am Reading" series by Nora Gaydos. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1584760737/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=1584761598&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=19PFB76JW46K1M58M1HP We also enjoyed the "We Can Both Read" books. One page is written for an adult to read to the child and the page next to it is written at the child's level for the child to read independently. They are available in different levels. You can look inside them at Rainbow Resource or Amazon. curlygirlzx2
Have you checked out wwwprogressivephonics.com? It's a free phonics website that has easy readers.
myfatherslily
Hot Dog and Big Egg were good for short vowel sounds. We've read some of the others mentioned as well, but I specifically remember DD liking Hot Dog:) (which we got from the library, but I've seen it many times with Walmart's early reader books)
rafgaf4
Bob Books are great. I also used www.starfall.com. This site is a great eductational resource. It has different levels as the child progresses in his/her reading levels. It also have a printing section that allows you to print out books and worksheeets to go along with the books on-line. The best part is that it is completely free!

Ottakee
The I See Sam books are WONDERFUL. They are very cute, cover phonics gently and provide a lot of practice. http://www.3rsplus.com or http://www.iseesam.com You can get the first 2 sets to print out at home at http://www.teacherweb.com/CA/PomeloDriveElementary/Mrssakamoto/printap2.stm
