Rebel Jedi Mom
Does anyone have a library list of elementary read-a-louds/readers for American History. Has anyone done this and NOT used a spine for 1st grade? Thanks! Jill
dragons in the flower bed
I have not done this, but it seems to me you could easily combine the reading lists from Beautiful Feet Early American History and WinterPromise American Story to have a very complete list of read-alouds. Truthquest, Artner's Guide, and Biblioplan also all are history programs using just lists of good books.
Rebel Jedi Mom
I also really like the Winter Promise books. I'll have to sleep on it - I really should not be making this decision so difficult... Thanks!
Sue G in PA
I think that's what it was called. Also check out the books in MFW Adventures pack (the ones that come with the pack). Not sure you could get your hands on the "book basket" books for that if you don't have the curriculum.
Verena
Check also about books by Betsy Maestro and Giulio Maestro. They have a bunch relating to Amer. History.
