FlutterbyMommy Posted February 7, 2010 Share Posted February 7, 2010 What are your favorite globes? Have you used the fancy, electronic ones with pens? What did you like or dislike about them? Has anyone used the dry erase globe? I am borrowing a VERY old globe right now (still has USSR). We also have an inexpensive inflatable globe, some laminated maps, and a nice world map floor puzzle. Geography has been our weakest area and incorporating some of these tools is helping. So I am looking to get a nice globe for us to keep. I purchased a really nice globe with wood base for $30. The original price was $50. Ravin Posted February 7, 2010 Share Posted February 7, 2010 We have the Wal-Mart basic globe. I'm a fan of not having to put batteries in things. The electronic ones are neat, but definitely pricey.
