lllll
Do you mean 'raising' boys?
Mom-ninja.
The Wonder of Boys by Michael Gurian and Raising Cain by Michael Thompson are my two favorites. Hold On To Your Kids is also good but not specifically about boys.
LadyBeth
Between my dh and I, we seem to have done okay with our two. My favorite resource has been How to Raise a Gentleman by Kay West. It's not so much parenting skills for you as it is life skills for the child. I had ds16 use it for copywork (still do when his attitude gets rough) My best friend swears by Bringing Up Boys by James Dobson. It does work for their family. Mommyof4ks
Another for Bringing Up Boys. The book and video series are both wonderful.
oldskool
I remember reading Raising Cain and thought it was great. http://www.amazon.com/Raising-Cain-Protecting-Emotional-Life/dp/0345434854/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1265 Lesley
Annabel Lee
I think there's a book called Preparing Your Son for Every Man's Battle. A friend was just telling me about it and the workbook & parent guide that go with it.
mrsrevmeg
Here's another vote for Bring Up Boys. Another good one is Boys Adrift by Leonard Sax. My biggest recommendation has to be What He Must Be if He Wants To Marry My Daughter by Voddie Baucham. FABULOUS!!! It is aimed more at fathers, but mothers can (and should) read it, too.
