drop sooner than a day or two before labor?

 

I'm 32 weeks with my 3rd child, and I feel and look like i've dropped, but everything I read says that with later children, they usually drop just within a day or two of labor. . .

I have had 4 kids and I looked like I was about to give birth for the last 3 months of the last pregnancy. I looked like I had dropped way earlier, but appearances can be deceiving b/c I stayed that way for the rest of the pregnancy.

I think my poor tummy muscles were just tired. :tongue_smilie:

If you look like you've dropped, you've dropped, no matter what everyone else's bundle does! My second dropped about half way (kinda) weeks before I had him, but then just sat around there until birth. I knew someone who's three dropped at about 30 weeks. Uncomfy!

My daughter dropped long before she broke my water, and she was born three weeks early. I couldn't walk for almost a month before she was born. It was almost impossible to keep up with my son!

Mine were both early- the first 3 weeks, the 2nd 12 days.

They are all unique and individual.

My first 2 never dropped/engaged until i was in labour. With my 3rd she dropped and was engaged from 33 weeks and i had her at 37 weeks. My OB did say he thought she would be early at my 35 week check up.
