thowell
Anyone know of a good one to use. We are starting Felicity and would love a light study to go with the books.
myfatherslily
I'll be watching to see if there are any unit studies out there:) But you might like to try Felicity's World Felicity's Craft Book Felicity's Cook Book Apparently, these are no longer in print, but maybe a library near you would have one or more? Ours has a large collection.
Aurelia
There's Portraits of American Girlhood, which I heard is pretty good, but a number of the books are OOP and difficult to find. There's also this one for Kirsten, this one for mini unit studies, and this one for Felicity. Edited January 3, 2010 by Aurelia

Kfamily
http://www.homeschoolshare.com/American_Girl_Lapbook.php These are mostly fun...and light but they are free.
myfatherslily
I just did a google search and found these unit studies. I bought Kaya and Molly and they look nice. You can buy them for $1.05 each (shows that the regular price is $3.00) or get a bundle pack of 10 for $5.25. They have a Little House on the Prairie unit study too. I've never done a lapbook before... so I can't wrap my brain around how to do it with the link shared above? I guess you have to find pictures and information yourself? I'd much rather have it all set out before me! DD would enjoy something like that, but I just have too many other things to research right now. But if I'm missing something, will someone please tell me?:)
Closeacademy
With the lapbook, you read the AG books and then you fill out the little booklets as you find the answers or after you are all done. We had a lot of fun with these. Here is a link to the ones we did on my blog: http://closeacademy.blogspot.com/2009/04/american-girl-felicity-lapbook.html This one is of Felicity. We did all the girls except Julie, Josephina, Kaya and Addy. We also added in the little books from the paper doll set. It was a lot of fun.:001_smile:
mom2koh
Fun! We were going to start reading Felicity tomorrow. This will give us something to do along with the book. Now it's decision time.... the HSHighlights one or the Homeschool share one..... :tongue_smilie:

FriedClams
I bought a lapbook from Hands of a Child that covers 4 or 5 of the AG series. No reviews as we're starting this week. Edited January 3, 2010 by Kayaking Mom
