Jean in Newcastle Posted December 26, 2009 Share Posted December 26, 2009 Figgy Piggy, as we nicknamed our Christmas pig's head, got nice and toasty. MIL praised the job we did on it. I was relieved to see dh cutting Piggy up before it went on the table. I got a couple of pictures for you. Here was our Christmas dinner Filipino style. There are two plates of piggy meat between the salad. After I took the picture I remembered the cashew chicken was in the oven so added that to the spread. Oh - and the wine served was a Reisling. I saw your thread asking for wine suggestions to go with the pig, and all I could think was ANYTHING IN A REALLY BIG BOTTLE!!!! It's beautiful!
