JWSJ
I have some paperback books for reference. They aren't available in hardback. What is your favorite book cover type? Are there any industrial strength types that will last decades? Thanks
Tammyla
Clear contact paper is what I've used for years here. The time and effort putting them on are well worth small expense. http://www.wikihow.com/Cover-a-Paperback-Book-With-Clear-Plastic-Film

aggieamy
I've got books my mother covered in contact paper probably 20 years ago and they are still going strong.
nukeswife
I buy redi-rolls from vernon library supplies. It's the same stuff they put on paperbacks at public libraries to help them hold up to the wear and tear.

I was going to recommend the library stuff, but couldn't remember the name of the supplier! Yes, for "industrial strength", go with the library supplies.
