BearWallowSchool
For those of you who use homemade cleaning products, what do you use to scrub the toilet?
Bambam
Just plain white distilled vinegar.
MyLittleWonders
Plain baking soda and if I really feel like it, I'll pour plain white vinegar in there after scrubbing to make it all fizz.
BearWallowSchool
A few more questions...I've never made homemade cleaner before and would like to start. Do you just make an all purpose cleaner and clean everything w/ it or do you have multiple ones for bathroom, kitchen, etc.?
elise1mds
Water, a bit of castile soap, and tea tree oil. Tea tree oil takes the tar out of anything! ETA: I have a few - The "Windex" is basically vinegar and water. Then I have a lighter cleaner that I call my "kitchen cleaner" and then my tea tree oil one that I nicknamed my "mold and mildew remover." ladydusk
I like the recipes in "Clean Home, Clean Planet" by Karen Logan. I use club soda for glass (mirrors/windows), vinegar, baking soda, castile soap and one of her all purpose cleaners (which I spray/pour into the toilet, then use the scrub brush). Rosie_0801
I just use a bit of eucalyptus oil on a rag. Rosie
