ahancock
Does anyone here know of a good colorful, workbook oriented, grammar program. FLL did not work for my visual learner. Colorful pictures matters a lot to her, even though it is a silly issue to me. She is learning a little grammar through Prima Latina, but I think that I need a separate grammar program. crowscreek
We are using workbooks from Rod and Staff. They are Bible oriented...not sure if that is something that is important to you or not... My 5yo really enjoys them!
birchbark
While not a workbook, The Sentence Family worked fabulously with my very visual son. http://www.stmichaelschool.us/sentencefamily.html
LadyAberlin
There is Voyages in English, but it gets expensive in the later yrs.
HollyDay
I agree that Abeka has the cutest illustrations. In 5th grade they are cute, cuddly, fuzzy little mice creatures doing very cute activities. My dd finds them distracting. She has trouble focusing on the lesson when she wants to make up a story about the little animals!
sarahv
ACE English is workbook oriented and colorful. It is also Christian content like Abeka, but more independent and "wordbooky".
