Julie in CA
On Saturday, I slow cooked a huge chuck roast until it was falling-apart yummy. Let it cool for about an hour, and then mistakenly put it in the fridge instead of the freezer. It's now Thursday afternoon--would you eat it? adams101
Yes, we tend to have a 1 week rule around here. After a week, it goes in the trash.

Daisy
We'd eat it. Just reheat thoroughly. I have a handy chart that hangs on my fridge and it says 4-5 days for left-over cooked beef (if not ground). If it was poultry it would be NO. MarthaT
I'd save it for a midnight snack personally. Nothing better than a little roast on a piece of toast
Scuff
I've always hear meat was good for 3 days, raw, and a week, cooked. So yes, I'd eat it.
