Storm Bay
This week, dd announced that her favourite subjects are science (no surprise) and math. Yes, math. Sure, she still complains about long, boring proofs, but she likes Geometry. For all of you who have helped me along our math path so far (I'll need more help, I'm sure) THANKS! Storm Bay
What are you using? I'd like a happy math daughter! I'm not sure if it's what I'm using or the fact that it's Geometry. She is doing a 1973 Dressler & Life of Fred. She finds arithmetic totally boring. She hated Algebra far less than that. Actually, she liked Algebra, and that was with Dolciani, but she rarely admitted it. While she likes LoF better, there is one drawback to it that I know of, and Dressler addresses that (that's writing out the Algebra Postulate as opposed to simply writing Algebra as a reason.)
