myfatherslily Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 I know I could put this in the Networking part of the forum, but really, who's gonna see it there??:tongue_smilie: I emailed APTV about Discovery Streaming and received this information: Yes, Alabama Public Television has a state-wide license that provides access to Discovery Education streaming to all K-12 educators in Alabama (this includes homeschoolers) free of charge through our APTPLUS service. In addition to Discovery Education streaming, APTPLUS also provides access to 4 other databases of educational content. Here is how you get registered: 1. Go to our website, http://www.aptplus.org. 2. Click on the Federated Search icon. 3. Click on "Register now"; this will take you to the registration page. 4. Click on "Homeschooler" 5. This will take you to a profile page which you need to fill out. 6. Click on "Send to APTPLUS"; 7. I will then register you and email you your username and password. I hope to hear from you soon.
