Night Elf
Punished by David Lubar The book is about a boy who literally runs into a man in the library. The man thinks the boy needs a lesson and makes the boy speak in puns. The boy learns he has to find 7 puns, 7 anagrams, and 7 palindromes to remove the punishment. It's a fun book and explains these things really well. It's an easy read, 95 pages of big print.

Kareni
Ah, I thought you were on the lookout for books about puns, oxymorons, anagrams, and palindromes, so I was all set to recommend books by Marvin Terban! Thanks for the book recommendation. We've enjoyed other David Lubar books but I was unfamiliar with this one. Regards, Kareni

Night Elf
Thanks for the book recommendation. We've enjoyed other David Lubar books but I was unfamiliar with this one. Regards, Kareni This our reason for finding the book in the first place. My kids love all the David Lubar books so we did a search in our library. And my dd happens to love puns because my DH is a notorious punster!
