MusicMouseTN
Tomorrow is my dd's first official day of preK. I know it's just the beginning, but I'm really happy that we are going to officially start! I've known for so long that we were going to homeschool. I'm just really happy it's here! She's excited too. In fact, she asked if we could 'do school' after dinner tonight! :) Here's to tomorrow! Wish us luck.

MusicMouseTN
Ok ... it went pretty well today. Realized that 45 minutes is the most we can do at a sitting! (Which is fine, because it covered everything on my plan for today.) She's still excited ... hopefully it will last!
MusicMouseTN
Enjoy! What are you using? Blessings, Lisa Doing OPGTR, Activities and Bible lessons from MFW-K, and other activities around those ... colors, shapes, etc. Going to go slow! No need to rush things. My main goal this year is to get in a habit of doing school, and to get her reading. She knows her letters and is constantly picking up her books to 'read' them. So, let's try and get her to actually read them! :)
Night Elf
Have fun with it. Don't pressure her. Knowing what I know now, I really wish I could go back in time and make changes. Don't be afraid to talk to the ladies on this board about any questions or concerns. Combined, we represent decades of experience!
