DeeFL
I am planning next year's curriculum purchases (financially need to switch what we've been doing in the past.) For some reason, planning my 6th grader's work is throwing me off kilter. Does this seem like everything or am I missing something? History Literature Grammar Writing Handwriting Science Bible Math Thanks!

DeeFL
Well, good. I feel better now! We'll be doing SOTW, so that will include geography. He's an awesome speller, so I have decided to drop that. He does, however struggle with actual writing (holding the pencil, forming letters correctly) which is why we still have handwriting. His typing is actually quite good, too. Since I'm having to teach ESL to our two newly adopted children, there's no way I'm planning to broach a foreign language. (Although he's recently learned some precious potty talk in Mandarin from his new brother.) Plus, his oldest brother will be doing sign language, which I hope he'll be able to pick up, as well. Great to know I haven't completely forgotten everything.
mcconnellboys
Spelling? or word study? Perhaps geography? Or a language? In literature, are you including both read aloud and read alone time? Something for art and music? That's all I can think of right now.... Edited July 7, 2009 by mcconnellboys
