Lisa in the UP of MI
DD will be in K next fall and I'm looking for some fun arts and crafts projects for her. As far as handicrafts go, she has already requested finger knitting and sewing. Thanks!
King Alfred Academy
This sis a great site to get ideas...http://belladia.typepad.com/crafty_crow/ I spent two afternoons checking it out. Fun stuff! :001_smile: I did see a link on there to a great site that teaches the finger knitting with great pictures.

Amandamc0017
My daughter and I enjoy jewelry making. There are some great books, at least at our library, that have simple projects. My daughter is now chiming in and suggests projects using clay. She enjoys making all kind of crazy creatures and things.
Mothersweets
This http://www.mybusybeebag.com/ is something my younger kids have enjoyed very much. I see from your signature that you have several little ones and another on the way-congratulations!-so I thought maybe something without a lot of "mom help" might be good to have around. These craft kits are so so easy to implement. Everything is included in the bag and the craft is very do-able for the child. We've always been pleased with the results, too!
