Something that touches on every civilization and time period, with pictures, maps, etc. Does such a thing exist? What is the closest you have found? Karen in CO Posted June 5, 2009 Share Posted June 5, 2009 I think I would go with Spielvogel instead of an encyclopedia. It is narrative, includes timelines, pictures, and primary documents. It is what I plan to use for high school level as the spine, so if I had to use only one then I'd used the one that I want to end with.
