  1. So sorry Kidshappen it must be so stressful.Did you mention your DH is a Veteran?

Did you know of Vet Tech funding? https://www.va.gov/education/about-gi-bill-benefits/how-to-use-benefits/vettec-high-tech-program/

He can get trained in cyber security or any of the in demand IT courses, they are boot camp certificate courses so typically 400-600 hour courses. Many are online/remote training. The advantage to these programs are the job placement services they have to offer all Vet tech students. Here is a list of preferred provider list https://www.benefits.va.gov/GIBILL/FGIB/VetTecTrainingProviders.asp. If you have questions please feel free to pm me.GL(((Hugs)))

  2. Do not get a Whirlpool, I replaced my WP with another WP because mine died end of 2020 and the pickings were slim.I got one with the top rack which I love. The 2nd rack has already broken.I just dislike WP so much, every month the dishes do not get washed at all even though a cycle will run completely. It just has issues. I think Kitchenaid is owned by WP now so I am unsure of this brand.

It didn't occur to me that I would need to have them shipped! I'm making a cute little gift for 21 high school coaches for *Thursday* and I need to find these or switch my game plan! Any ideas?

We checked Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens, Dollar General so far,..........

    Party city,Big lots,restaurant supply store?

  4. I am at the tail end of this(tested negative for flu,Covid, strep) and the only 2 things that helped are antibiotics and inhaler. I got sick on the 10th and I still have a little cough left but the cold symptoms remain. I hope you can get the DR to send a script out asap. Hugs, there is so much of this going around.

  5. Looks like you will need a 6-12 cups of cooked rice or 6 cup uncooked capacity rice cooker. Look at Pansonic or Zojirushi brand.I love my Panasonic(I have a smaller sized one). Some have a nonstick coating if you want one that is easy to clean. They are not heavy in weight, but they do take space,If you use a slow cooker I am wondering if an Instantpot(duo 8 qt) might work for you! You can buy extra inserts for it,That way you can cook rice and also another dish if needed back to back. With black friday coming up you will start seeing deals on the instantpot. Avoid Aroma brand, the 2 you listed I haven't used.

  6. I have bought really good ones from Homegoods,The one I am currently using is a Tommy Bahamas brand that I picked up just before the pandamic hit.It was on clearance at $10-11.They have held up really well. The others I have bought were from Cost plus,Pier 1 and Marshalls. The latest was from Homegoods a few months ago.I always put them on speed wash and then dry them for 20 minutes,I always wash them with kitchen towels.Hth
