    DIY custom closet

    I used to have Elfa in my old house and currently have(pre covid) California closets and Closet by design(post covid),Out of all of them I love Closet by design the best.I got several projects done -Elfa was pantry,kids rooms,basement closet. California closets did master closet,Study,game room,Closet by design did laundry,mud room,kids rooms and pantry. While all of them work well and have held up the craftmanship,the installers and designers at closet by design were the best hands down.I had some 2 extra pantry shelfs I needed and they just sent them to me for no extra fees.California closet designer was unprofessional and did not come back to me for almost 2 months of waiting after signing the contract and then a manager got involved and while he apologized he was unwilling to let me cancel the order.The installer was sub par and did not level all the doors and I had to get them done again.

    Elfa when I bought it had mostly chrome draws and shelves,I prefer the solid shelving and draws,personal preference.
