  1. I am considering MFW for next year for my middle kids and having my high schoolers do something completely different. My 1st and 3rd graders I am not too worried @ as they will hit this stuff again, but I am wondering if MFW will be enough for the 8th and 6th graders? If you have used this with multiple ages, I'd love to hear how your day/week went. Thanks!
  2. Anyone have expereince with this book? Is it worth the money and do you think it helped you? http://stores.diannecraft.org/Detail.bok?no=1
  3. I can sew some, nothing fancy, but thats a wonderful idea!
  4. We really enjoyed Notgrass AM Gov and it could be done in one semester.
  5. I probably will end needing to update our bedding as it's pretty worn, so maybe I will try that before painting so I can match it up. I want something simple and inexpensive.
  6. I really like that too! It's going to be to hard to decide LOL
  7. Thank you. I am thinking of the DVD's, unless BJU offers some other option in the spring. If I do go with the E&S, I would pobably do biology the following year, the chemistry the next one; skipping physical science altogether. What would I list the S&E as on my 9th grades transcript?
  8. and wanted to use BJU, would you use the 8th grade earth and space or the 9th grade physical science? Thanks!
  9. Thanks everyone! I appreciate all the ideas and can't wait to get it painted now! Oh and I do know how to spell paint! :blushing:
  10. OH, thanks for the pics! I might run to home depot today and get some paint chip cards  Oh and I do know how to spell paint!
  11. I wasn't sure a mocha or muslin color would go, but I love those types of colors and would be thrilled it we could do something in one of those shades. And $22.50 sounds wonderful! :D
  12. The room doesn't get that much natural light and only has one window. I do prefer warm natural tones.
  13. My teens are going to pitch in to buy paint and redo my bedroom after the holidays. The carpet is royal blue, which we can't afford to change, so what color would you paint the walls? Thanks!
  14. First off this is embaressing, :blushing: but we have a pile of medical bills from the last 18 months that we are planning on paying off with our tax return/end of the year bonus. The amount is = @ 10% or more of our AGI. We will be able to claim this, or whatever you call it, as medical expenses on our 2009 taxes even though the actual date of the bills are 2007/2008? The great thing is once these are paid off we will finally be 100% caught up on all our debts!!! It's been a long road, but it feels wonderful now that the end is in sight!
  15. :lurk5: We are thinking of the same thing for fall so I hope someone answers!
  16. At one time I thought of nursing and working weekend evenings so I could be home during the week.
