officially, you can't list a class as AP unless it has been approved by the College Board. so, i would put biology and a&p on the transcript. the colleges will see that she took the AP test.

I would look at Shurley English. I have taught this program for two years now and it is by far the best organized, sequential that I have seen. I too love Saxon math.

Here is one I actually got off of this forum awhile ago. WTM Cinnamon rolls Dough: 1 T. Dry Yeast 1 Cup warm milk 1/3 C. white sugar 1/2 C. melted butter 1 tsp. salt 2 eggs 4 C. flour Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Knead into ball. Let rise until double. When ready, roll out to about 1/4 inch thick. Spread with filling. Filling: 1/4 C. butter, softened 1 C. brown sugar 3 T. cinnamon Spread butter on dough evenly. Sprinkle sugar & cinnamon over dough evenly. Roll dough up. Slice roll into 1 inch slices. Place on a greased pan. Let rise until doubled. Bake 10 min. at 400 degrees. Icing: 1/2 C. butter, softened 1 1/2 C. powdered sugar 1 oz. cream cheese 2 T. whipping cream 1 tsp. vanilla extract pinch of salt Beat until fluffy. When rolls are hot spread icing on them. To make night before, skip final rising step. Let rise overnight in fridge. In morning, bake! To make slicing easier use dental floss.

I not only went to UF, but became a Christian there. Remember, God is everywhere, even in Gainesville! We know kids who are there now and are leaders in Campus Crusade and it is huge -so huge they have a problem finding a place to meet. Another good college guide is Choosing the Right College by ISI books. It gives more than just academic info and shows a different perspective on the schools and a student's ability to get a great education there.

I, too, went to UF and actually became a Christian there at a frat party, of all places! God is everywhere, even in Gainesville. I loved my years there and stayed for grad school.

We have a friend whose son is probably the most gifted-in-history person I have ever seen. He did Omnibus I online for 9th grade this year and just loved it. All this boy talks about is history and this has been the case since he was very young. You might look at the Omnibus online classes.

I have actually met Susan three or four times at our home school convention. She remembered my name and said hi to me and even helped me choose a couple of books! She is very nice and very real.
