  1. I REALLY like this idea...I will have to see how that might work for us. Kathy
  2. At what age did your daughters stop playing with dolls?? My 9 1/2 year old still has her Little Tikes kitchen, laundry etc and plays with them once in a while. But she also wants to have more grown up things in her room and we are just running out of space to have both age groups of stuff. So, I was just wondering is she probably close to being done with the baby doll stuff and if we jammed her room full of more mature things, like a desk, an art and craft center, she will be ready to abandon the other...I didn't really want to force her to grow up either...What do you think?? Kathy

  4. I am on the library board of a very small library in a very small town. We are trying to come up with fund raising ideas that won't cost us anything, that will bring the community together and would be fairly easy to do. Any ideas??? Please??? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. with kids that age, I would do one per family...because you will be doing most of the work...so unless you have a lot of extra time (and if you do, I need to talk to you and find out how you do it...)...one per family is enough. And as far as what to include...just the basics...find a premade on online might help...there are some great sites...google free lapbooks. Good luck!

  7. was there any sort of protection put over the actual cord before it went around the tree?? Kathy
  8. We bought this for our kids this summer, with the intent to put it between 2 very large maple trees in our yard, but now I am wondering whether or not it will danage the trees over time. I thought maybe about putting some sort of rubber protecting thing around the line part that goes around the tree...what do you think...will that work...or am I worried for nothing. When I say large trees, I mean VERY large...like 2 feet in diameter, large.

  23. I don't know how these books are laid out, so I am asking for myself as a future user (hopefully)...could you do 1/2 of one book in the fall and 1/2 of a different book in the spring of one year and then do the 2nd half the next year (just for some variety) or are the books not set up to do that well??
