YES! I don't know how one little extra hour can totally mess someone up! My 3 year old is insane, he gave up naps months ago and today he fell asleep while eating lunch.
-
Can you please tell me more about it? Either on this or through PM? Thanks!

I watch CSI and The Office on that list.....Lost isn't on there?!?

I have no advice, but wanted to offer you :grouphug:. I will pray you find a decision you can be peaceful about.

Logan has these 'taggie' blankets that have silky tags all around them. At night while he's going to sleep, he lifts up his shirt (he has a 4 inch scar on his tummy from a surgery, also has a scar from where his feeding tube was) anway, he will lift his shirt, suck his tongue and rub one of the tags from his blankie on his scars. We tried footie PJ's, the ones that zip, andwe would find him asleep with them unzipped because he would unzip them so he could reach his scars....it's interesting. He does this every night. Anyone else have a child with a 'wierd habbit' that lulls them to sleep?

Oh my goodness......my arms are suddenly aching for a wee babe to hold....:glare:

Logan is majorally speech delayed. He will be 4 in April and only says a handful of words. Well, we can add another one!! Tonight we were tucking them in and Logan reached up to Aiden who was on the top bunk and said "Gug Gug" He wanted a hug!! I was SOOOO excited, it made me feel all squishy inside......:001_wub:

My oldest son has awful nightmares. If I want sleep, I can't show him things like that. Things like that stick with him for EVER.

I'm so sorry about your friends' baby. How neat that they had that song at her funeral. I've often prayed that I'd have the kind of strength that's spoken of in the song when faced with difficult times. It's so against my nature!
When my uncle was dying of cancer, my aunt asked me to sing "The Old Rugged Cross" at his funeral. I practiced a lot in the weeks prior and couldn't get through it without crying. I finally told her that I'd have to record it to be played because I just knew I'd never make it through the song live in the service. Somehow I got a decent rendition on tape.
Songs are so powerful, aren't they?
Chelle
Yes, songs have a way to be so powerful. I pray for that kind of strength too, but know it's nothing I could ever muster up on my own. That kind of strength is something only God can give us.

It Is Well With My Soul! Oooh, that songs gives me shivers and tears when we sing it in church. It is so powerful, especially as it builds to the end. Here are the words:

I hope you get a good cry from everyone's suggestions!

That song always gets me too Our dear friends lost a baby at 38 weeks and they played that at her funeral. :(

Not all of them. I think a prostrate test for men, mamos for women, PAPs for women and other preventative tests are needed. A general check up if nothing is wrong doesn't do much unless blood work is done also to check iron, white blood cell, and other counts that may be useful to prevent problems in the early stages.
:iagree:

Dh and I cannot keep our tears back :crying:when we listen to Steven Curtis Chapman, Cinderella. (shhh don't tell dh I told you ;)) It's his song for his little girl (who loves to dress up in her gowns).
OH yea! I forgot that one!

I am feeling sappy today and wondered what your favorite songs are that always make you grab a tissue? I love Mark Shultz for those types of songs (CC) he's got some doozies....My favorites are
Mark Shultz:
"He's My Son"
"Walking Her Home"
"When You Come Home"
Martina McBride has a few too that always make me tear up
"My Daughters Eyes" (funny since I don't even have a girl! lol)
"God's Will" (that one I have yet to make it through w/o crying)

It is about a baby born with Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) who lives 99 days. Edwards Syndrome is not compatable with life. The family celebrates every day that he is still with them.
Katie, our Trisomy 18 baby would have been 12yo this year

Lemme guess. She left out references to Jesus?
Part of it, also the end verse. I couldn't find that comment....so I don't know what they meant....however, it probably wasn't kind. :(

I was a TAD dissapointed that Oprah didn't play the entire video. She left out a few key peices at the end IMO. But it was still REALLY touching!

:crying::crying::crying: OH MY GOODNESS...... I can't stop crying....

The bad thing about JUST getting into it is that I saw the picture of the Season 5 cast and a few of my favorites weren't there :( I'm assuming they meet their demise at somepoint along the way. Also seeing a few new faces..... Interesting

You got Todd and I TOTALLY hooked BTW! We have been getting it through nextlix, one little DVD at a time. We watch all 4 episodes, usually until 2AM then have to send it back and wait for the next one. Todd said "I sure wish we'd remembered to take home the LOST season 1 from the ____ house the other day!" ;)

he's not sure if there will be a job left for him when the deal is completed. The VP of the company called a mandatory meeting for this afternoon, he may find out more then. Although I'm sure they won't tell them all if they will lose their job.....VP's tend to paint the truth with pretty colors so there isn't a mass 'quitting'. Anyway, please pray that he will still have a job!

I have no idea what all that means....but YAY.:D
That stuff is all good.....right???
