A toddler that smelled like maple syrup body and diapers. My 2 yr old has been sick for like a month and is now getting better but I have noticed this smell now. He drinks plenty I thought it was because he just drinks juice but I have other kids who have done that and don't smell like that. I am at a loss. Want so opinions before we run to the Dr.

I am so sorry that is ALOT to deal with. My dh's step brother lives in OR I believe and he was stabbed in teh aorta this summer weird small world !

You are not out of line. No they are not adopted they are all bio. I keep thinking maybe one will come out completely normal :rofl: then I realized "what is normal" ;)

Thanks! I have all 6 kids sick now. I think my oldest and maybe youngest might have the h1n1 flu. I have bee ready to just throw in the towel. I can seem to get it together:lol:

If the coloring is for the sake of following directions it can be made fun. There are lots of scholastic books "Following the Directions and Learn. Then you can still work on following directions and fine motor but in a bunch of different ways not just coloring. and you can always work in sharing and getting along. JMO

My dd has all the same issues as well as a lefty but she is older she's 10 but has struggled with this issue the whole way through spacing and reversals interchanging she has gone to OT for awhile and has improved somewhat. She can write "normal" if she closes her eyes weird huh? We have done HWT as well as a lot of air letter writing or using yr finger and write a letter on her back and have her guess it. Writing figure 8's really helped

sit disc i think that was mentioned. Gum crunchy snacks really help organize as well.. Figiet items chewy pencil tops or bracelts that are made just for chewying.

I have work boxes I love them! I have been reading that your suppose to have a hs goal and a plan for the yr and something like an IEP written up for each of yr kids. I am still trying to get the hang of writting a lesson plan. I am trying to figure out how arrange my 3 ring planner binder to be the most helpful. The pocket chart is a great idea to! I have to really get things structured here or nothing gets done. The more structure the better dc lives seem to be.

Household chores lessons to do's , inventory things i need to buy for school the list goes on n on I need help on how to organize it. How to fill it out and put it together in my binder what goes 1st second so on n so on. Also I need a step by step guide or template on how to write up educational goals lesson plans and all those type of things. Any ideas are welcome but I need it detailed or I won't get it websites and books so on n so on. All my kids are sick oldest and pos youngest have the bad flu so I have been off of school since middle of last week and will be through this week. So I am really trying to accomplish this. I've officially decided as of last night that I am NOT going to listen to any of the voices anymore. If you can't support us, just get out of the way. I'm a good mom, a consistent mom and a caring mom...God gave me kids with special needs because He knew I was the best mom for them. End of story. :iagree: :iagree: :iagree: :thumbup:
