That sounds really interesting. I loved linguistics too. One way that you can tell if a online college degree is legitimate is by looking into its accreditation. Accreditation should be from a recognized body. For example, ACCSC provides for Independence University accreditation which makes it reputed college. Though the college does not offer a language course but it does offer programs that prepare students for in-demand careers. I hope you can find the course you’re looking for at from a good online institution.
Duke University, I heard its good plus its warm there. They are pretty good in sports too, popular for basketball. It was highlighted in One Tree Hill series too :)
Coaching is different than Sports Management.
Sports Management is the business end of the program: the AD, marketing, sales, finances, etc. They usually major in Sports Management (a relatively new major,) business, finance, etc.
I completely understand your plight! Reading college reviews can be a real test of your patience…especially when it’s hard to know which ones are trustworthy. The Stevens Henager student reviews seem positive but I think the next step is to contact someone who has actually attended college there and ask what their experience was like.
:)
I look at children' education as a partnership between themselves and the school. Children enjoy school, and they enjoy coming home to relax, and just be themselves.
Another option you might want to consider is finishing your degree online. I just read a few Stevens-Henager reviews – they seem to have a good reputation with recognized accreditation and you can stay at home, or work while simultaneously finishing your degree. Seems like it might be a good fit for you.
