Personally, I'd treat it like you did but keep a very close eye on it. Cat bites can be super germy so any unusual redness or whatever, I'd call the nurse line. But we tend to lean towards wait-and-see for most things (especially for older kids/adults).

We like it and have been using it for a few years. Oldest DD had the option of EiW (again) next year or a more "fun" program (Cover Story - which I thought looked awesome) and she wants to stick with EiW!
I'd say that the instruction is all in the DVD. The program isn't anything without it.

I say sure. But my kid ate Goldfish for breakfast this morning, so who am I to say...

Other than library receipts, the only thing I've found are sticky notes with book recs. Those are always fun; something like, "If you liked this, you'll love ___."

My name is Kung Fu Panda because I do not charge for awesomeness or attractiveness.

My girls and I are big Kung Fu Panda fans, and this made me LOL.

My first forum (a decade ago) was a cake baking forum. I'm no good at choosing user names...and alisonbakes was taken...so boom: alisoncooks. Interestingly enough, I am not a great cook. Or even a good cook, haha. (And many people assume that Cooks is my last name -- it's not, lol.)

Not a chance. With that family history, we'd have to build up to it. (day visit with parent, then day visit without parent, etc). A week!? Nope.

Our dog would poop in the house on snow days. Luckily, we don't get many of those where I live (1-2x/year).

In another life, I would've taken advantage of our 6 child-free years early in marriage: saving extra income, better self-care/habits, growing my marriage, cultivating habits/interests.

Oh man, this thread totally messed with my mind. @Kassia -- I forgot that we are on another forum together and I was sooo confused for a moment, lol. 😛

My kids are 10 & 12, and they are still required to be in their rooms around 8pm. That's when I'm officially done interacting for the day. (They can stay up til 9/9:30 but in their rooms and quiet.) I go to bed at 10:30, and I need that alone time before.

I have never had a manicure.
I had a "poodle perm" in the late-80s.

My DD goes to a monthly chess club at the library. They mostly just meet up and play. Sometimes they do things like speed rounds and such. It's not especially structured.

I've been using that sunscreen, as well! It's the only sunscreen I've regularly used -- I hate typical sunscreen smell and this has no real odor. (And it's super INexpensive!)
I also have CeraVe's new Ultra-light Moisturizing Lotion (spf 30?), which is okay...but has a sunscreen smell. (Also has chemical sunblocks which I don't love). I also have a couple Elta Md...they smell like sunscreen...so I mainly use the cheapie listed above.

My DD10 does most schoolwork sitting on the living room couch. We're pretty unstructured.

I fairly content but I do wish I'd made some wiser choices when I was younger (which would make life now easier).

what car? UPDATE in first post

We have a Rav 4. The back cargo area is very roomy -- def enough room for dogs. My only hesitation is that the backseat legroom is smallish. So depending on how often people will be back there, she may want more space.
It's (overall) a good size -- it's the main car for our family of 4 (roomier than it looks -- like the Tardis. 😉 ) But, in full disclosure, I'm hoping to upgrade to a minivan for even more room (and hauling kids+friends everywhere).
