  1. I was able to use 2 codes. Thanks! Wish I had seen this earlier.
  2. wow....that is not how I look at any Priest or Pastor...they are usually VERY willing to help in any way. If the Priest didn't want to help I'm sure he would say so. Since when does a church send people a way? Then again...I'm Christian. Is that how Catholic churches work? I'm shocked if they do. Others have posted that they got help from a Priest that was very willing to work with them. I'm sorry this post just struck me wrong.
  3. I graduated in 1991...we did it in 6th grade...and boy did I hate it. UGH!
  4. We use the dining room table. I keep all the books and binders that I use to store all my worksheets for each subject and completed work etc in a large plastic locking tub. It keeps everything safe and in order. I have a 2 year old that would get into it all so this works well for us.
  5. I just started homeschooling my 7th grade son and I'm looking for suggestions for Social Studies. He is a year behind in reading and reading comprehension. I'm looking for something that will make Social Studies interesting for him. He has trouble recalling what he reads when he isn't interested in what he reads. Any help? I had thoughts of getting The Story of the World Vol. 3....would this be age appropriate? Has anyone used it?
  6. Thank you for the information. My son is 12 (almost 13) and doesn't like to write. I think I'll give it a try.
  7. What age level are the books for? I don't to see any mention of this. Thanks.
  8. Thank you for the information. I see now that he mentions the grades for the levels. I should have seen that. I think I'm on a information overload today. I'm in a rush to get curriculum for my 7th grader that I just pulled out of school to homeschool. There is just so much information to go through on the web and not much time for me to get it in order. I appreciate your help! Now if I could come up with some good English and Science that would be on the order of this program I will be more than happy! Any suggestions?
  9. I was just checking out the program and it looks like it is sold in "levels" is this equivalent to grades? So, if my son is in the 7th grade he would require level 7? I watched the sample video and like what I see.
