Hey, I don't think comments can be posted on the sidebar. At least I haven't figured out how to let them happen.

I leave it on the side bar so the noncomputer-savvy grandparents can easily find it without having to sift through all the other posts. I try to put something in the post column that pertains to the Weekly Report so comments can be left there if one wanted to leave a comment.
