I am completely unfamiliar with this kind of interview. I have a hypothesis for why a company would perhaps try to have these “interviews” (dove tails into your comment about unpaid work), so I’m really interested to hear from those that have had them and I am prepared to hear my hypothesis is wrong 😊
I hope someone does chime in. Personally, I don’t know anyone who has done this as I have only heard about it from a group a few years ago.

Shepherd's pie made with beef instead of lamb.
I have never seen a shepherd's pie made with a crust. Is that just me?
I never saw shepherd’s pie with a crust until I moved up north. I think it is regional thing.

It's a pie. So is my Sephardi meat pie (ground lamb and/or beef, eggs, ground onions and garlic, cumin, coriander (spice), paprika, salt, pepper and chopped coriander (the herb)).
Yummo and one of the things I miss most about my family turning veg*n on me....
Yummy!

Those pictures are what we call chicken & dumplings. Maybe what it's called varies by region? This is from my dh's family in the midwest. I've also seen chicken & dumplings with drop biscuits instead of the flat noodle dumplings.
The noodles are thinner than a usual dumpling noodle.

It depends on the area and culture on what they call it. And how it was explained to me by someone who is a Mennonite- it is pot pie as the filling is cooked in a pot. Think of it the same way that as the disagreement about hand pies.

During canning season, I make pickles outside as the smell can stay for awhile especially with the amount I am canning.

Is there also a crust on this chicken pie with noodles?
No crust.

That looks absolutely delicious, and is going on my menu soon, but I can not figure out how that is not Amish chicken and dumplings or Amish chicken noodle soup.
I think a crust is a defining feature of a pie.The noodles are thin and it is literally the pie filling basically. Whereas dumplings are thicker and the tastes are not the same.

The one that has noodles in the pot is chicken & dumplings. It's a specific type of noodle, though.
That is not chicken pot pie made with noodles. Chicken and dumplings are completely different.

I need a recipe for this pot pie with noodles and no crust. I am skeptical that it is a pie, but still want to taste it.
It is so much better than a regular pot pie. Look up PA Dutch pot pie or Amish pot pie. You can make gravy as thick or as thin as you want ( team thick gravy lol).

There are two types of pot pie. The ones baked in a crust with a crust top and the good kind that is noodles in the pot. So it is a pie.

Uniqlo had some wonderful clothes and you can customize the length. DS buys his pants from there as he is 6 ft tall and very skinny. It is the one place I can buy off the shelf and not need to take the waist in. The women’s shirts there I find besides the tunics to be short in the torso but they fit my daughter fine.

If you have had these either as a potential employee or do these as an employer, tell me about it.
I have two of these coming up after one normal phone interview and one that was just odd phone interview. Not one question about the position and what I could do just an hour of what words mean to me.
I know what they are but tell me about them in your experience. It has been years since I even had a job interview and while I know things have changed, I am not sure if what I thought it was and is now are completely different. The one place says these interviews last about 4-5 hours of what is to me unpaid work and the other one says about 1.5 hours as they do in person one at the same time.
So what is your experience with these?

Likely not deficient in D3. We’ve supplemented that the past several years. I’ll try to get a copy of the bloodwork.
You might be surprised on how many who supplement are still deficient. Especially, as not everyone can absorb from the pills or have genetic issues that they don’t know about that cause it to be difficult to absorb.

Blood work done in the summer. Supposedly all normal looking.
Get a copy and take a look at it yourself to confirm. Look at the vitamin d level too as some will say that 30 is normal and that is low.

Has the child had a physical and blood work done recently? If not, I would start there before supplementing as some things can make anxiety worse or mimic it.

Wish I was closer to you as we are hunting a few vintage patterns.
On market place and eBay- list as lots of ten. They sell pretty nice that way. I have bought a few that way. Also, see if you have any sewing centers near you that give classes? They usually welcome free complete patterns and fabric.

For some I have dealt with who were crated a lot when younger- they needed a corner or something to back up against to poop. Also, take the pee pee pad outside and set it up in the area. The last dog I did failed foster care with had been crated a long time due to the bad backyard breeder and broken leg. He needed me to help reset his brain. I brought the pee pee pad outside and slowly used that to help him understand to do his business outside. Along with setting up a cheap dollar store fence area for him to back up too. He was the one dog who took the longest to train out of many fosters.

I have seen that. Sometimes it is for insurance to cover something that really a primary care could order first but insurance won’t pay unless the specialist orders the same tests. And sometimes I think it is due to primary care doctor either afraid to handle things they used to or their insurance won’t allow them.
We don’t need referrals with our insurance and I am so glad. PCP’s here are rare that see anyone sick ( tell you to go to urgent care instead) or have such long waits. A specialist for us gets us in faster.

Adding to the list- those disposable hand/foot warmers. I keep those in each car kit during the winter.

But is it wild salmon? (after being given some winter caught king from a commercial fisherman client of dh's, . yeah, I'll take it when I can't get copper river sockeye.)
or Atlantic farmed salmon that has no flavor of its own, and little nutritional value?
we have a saying in our family. Friends don't' let friends eat farmed salmon.
Lol. I actually looked at that and it is wild caught salmon.

My (late) grandfather used to love to go to Alaska for salmon & halibut fishing. They’d get it flash frozen and shipped back with dry ice. Grandma tried all sorts of ways of cooking it over the years. By far the grossest I tasted was with brown butter & cinnamon.
Brown sugar and black pepper are pretty tasty on salmon but I would say yeah no to the cinnamon.

Yes! It's not like one person thought this up and tried it at home. If it's for sale in a store, even a small one that's not part of a chain, multiple people had to agree that this was a great idea and that people would want it.
I kind of want to stalk the seafood section and see if anybody actually buys it!
Based on how many were there, I’d say very few.

And that's all I have to say about that!
Doesn’t it make you want to know who thought it was a combination people desired.
