Amy, it sounds fantastic! Happy for you to have this time together.
Home now, mom is doing good. Dh is going to grill some burgers for dinner. We are going to Staples to scan some docs later. I bought a great printer, came highly recommended, will not scan to our computer. It keeps asking us to download software on every scan. I'd rather pay at Staples, because it goes directly to our emails. Too easy not to do it this way.

Dh just left for his game, and I've decided to stay home with mom instead of going to wedding. They are starting her on new pain meds, don't want to be far from home. Dd got me a beautiful candle holder for my birthday, and Dh surprised me with golf clubs. Very unexpected!
Not sure about dinner...going to play it by ear. Ds1 has a birthday next week and we usually combine our dinner celebration.

Morning, all!
It's my birthday today. We have a wedding this evening, but dh's team is in the state championship game at the same time. I had planned on going by myself but my mom had a slight setback last night, so I don't know if I feel comfortable leaving her for an extended period of time.
To do:
- breakfast shake, coffee
- weights
- quick Target run for laundry soap
- finish reading book
- not sure after this...depends upon mom

Agree with previous posters...file and document, document, document! If something were to happen, God forbid, you can show that you did feel that you were threatened and in danger. If you don't file, they can counter with you didn't take the threats seriously. Also, consult a lawyer. I'm not sure, but you may have a free option through a domestic violence shelter who will carry out the paperwork for you.

All I can tell you that at school, it is really rough. Last year, we lost a beloved senior girl when she was hit by a drunk driver who fled the scene a week before graduation. At school, it became divided into real friends vs. pseudo friends. We had counselors, outside people come in, but it didn't stop the agitation between the two groups. It became quite contentious...
I pray for your dd, you, all family. Please let her know we are praying for her...

Another vote for LL Bean. Dd got hers in 6th grade, it is now seeing her through her freshman year of college. It is not a solid color, but a mixed turquoise and white print. Washes well, no stains or fading.

Good morning/afternoon! I tackled before I posted today...
coffee, breakfastclean family room, kitchenvacuumTarget and Hobby LobbyOff to Lowes to find some paper...I need a large roll of kraft paper for class, Hobby Lobby was out. Lowes sells this in painting supplies, so I'm going to check it out...if it works, it's a cheaper option.
Update lesson plans, post new due dates
Dh is at baseball, will go out to lunch when he gets home
Maybe watch the fight tonight

Home now, waiting on caregiver appt. Forgot to marinate the chicken, so that's going now. I've never used this base before (smoky coconut aminos).
I'm going to read my book, relax for a bit. I've been following a book lover on youtube, and she was in a reading slump. She paced herself at 25 pages a day, ended up reading a lot of books in a year. I'm trying it this week, really hard to fight off the urges to keep going. My reading pile is growing...my pacing is not.

Good morning, all! There are 24 days left until finals...starting the big push to the finish line in my classes today.
Amy, thanks for asking about my mom. She was sent home on hospice two weeks ago. She was not making any progress in rehab/physical therapy so insurance would no longer cover it. Dh has put off work to stay home in the mornings/early afternoon until I get home so I can finish out the school year. She is much happier at home, adores my dh. He's been amazing.
To do:
-
weights - coffee, set up bullet journal for the day
- pack school bag and snacks/water
- hospice coordinator is coming to check on my mom later this morning, dh will do visit via phone so I can give input
- catch up on grading
- laminate character and quote cards for class
- read for 52 week challenge, take a 45 minute break for self
- grill chicken for diinner (keto teriyaki marinade), salad
- read some more, relax

We are staying home, caring for my mom today. Ds1 is coming over for dinner, visit with my mom.
To do:
- breakfast, coffee
- church online
- watch new football league game
- lesson plan, make calendar
- laundry
- ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls for dinner. Chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert. (Thank you, Costco!)

Good morning, all! I'm enjoying a nice overcast morning...supposed to be in 90s by midweek. I'm not ready for heat.

- menu plan/grocery shop
- clean bathrooms, bedroom
- grade, lesson plan
- relax for a bit with a book
- not sure about dinner yet, possible dinner out
- set up bullet journal for tomorrow...I found that I can't long range plan, that daily is better

- finish cleaning hall cabinets
- organize office, organize books in new bookshelves (moved to closet)
- organize to read, purge, list and donate books/curriculum
- clean dd's room (vacuum/dust)
- clean out hall closet
- power nap
- finish up on list
- leftovers for dinner
- read, set up journal for tomorrow

Good morning, all! Not feeling that hot this morning. We went to breakfast yesterday, something was just "off" with my meal. Fortunately, today is the first day of spring break, so I can just stay home, relax. We did some major house chores and yard stuff on Saturday, so not too much to do today.
To do:
coffee
order bookshelves, have dh pick up and assemble
put sorted books away, declutter desk
call dog trainer for consult
read, relax
don't know about dinner, had a nice keto crockpot meal set up, have to thing about it

Ds1 came over and we went out to lunch. There is a huge country music concert/Tim McGraw at a venue up the road. Our cell service has been knocked out because of the sheer volume of people. We can text, but not make/receive calls. I called my mom's care center, gave them my Google voice number as that is working through our wifi.
FAFSA is filed, finally. Very happy to get that checked off our list. Dd was having access issues. I am halfway through the paper pile on the dining room table. Going through this much paperwork is not for the faint of heart.
I guess the good news is, we can sit out back and get a free concert this evening. Casting Crowns was here awhile back, heard every song.
