Hello, I want to change my foreign language from Italian to Russian. I have narrowed my curriculum choices down to BYU Independent Study or the Penguin Russian course. I have heard good things about each but I wanted to get some more opinions from parents/students who have BTDT.

I use Rosetta Stone Italian and a text and workbook I found online. I will post links at the bottom of this post. Personally, I don't like Rosetta Stone very much. I can't stay focused on it. I like the Khan Academy app and there is another app I use to schedule my days and assignments. I can't remember the name of it right now but I will find it and let you guys know. It's called iStudiez pro. It costs $2.99 but it is worth it.

Though I am a little late, I thought I might be able to help. I use Rosetta Stone with a lot of supplements from Barnes and Noble. I use TT and supplement with Khan when I don't understand something or want a further explanation. I have the app on my cell phone so it is convient for me.

I need to take the PLAN test this year but I am having trouble finding the site with testing facilities. Can someone post a link for me? Thanks in advance.

I have noticed that some of you use college-level textbooks to teach Biology. what do you do for labs? Also, what text would you recommend for someone that would like to major in Bio? :001_smile:
