  1. What I find amazing is what some people are willing to pay for some things. For example, I've seen MUS go for more than retail on eBay  Do people not check these things out before bidding?
  2. I had something similar happen to me a few years ago. The lady took her jolly ol' time shipping, when she told me she would be going to the PO the next day. I'd email her and she'd take 4-5 days to reply. I finally receive my box 3 weeks later and an item is missing. I email her again. She replies a few days later with some silly excuse, that she left the item out and didn't notice until after she had mailed out the box, but she would ship it the next day. To make a longer story short, I never received the missing item, the other things she did send were not as good as she had described, and worst of all Paypal denied my claim because it had been more than 30 days since the transaction. I believe she was stalling to make it past the 30 days. It used to be 30 days, but some one mentioned 45, so maybe it has changed in the last couple of years. Good luck!
  3. Oh no, another reason to finally take the plunge and get United Streaming. My kids love HH series. We used to watch them on AnimaniaHD, but Dish Network dropped that chanel over a year ago. I asked the people from HorribleBooks.com if they would carry them, but they haven't had any luck getting the US format.
  4. Thank you for posting that. It is very encouraging. I have been looking at both these programs for my boys for next year. I'm thinking WT1 for my 8.5yo and CW Older Beginners for my 11.5yo (he'll be 12 by the time we start.)
  5. We've only used the workbook once. The computer crashed and I had my son use the workbook for a week until we got the computer to work.
  6. My son enjoyed the online much more than the books, but after a couple of months it just got boring for him, tedious. We've been taking breaks from it every so often. BTW, We got it through HomeschoolBuyersCo-Op for $35/year.
  7. Do you get a menu on the left showing the covers of the levels? If not, it might be a Mac compatibility issue. I would email Pandia Press.
  8. I've never been to a homeschool convention, but then I haven't lived anywhere were there was one close enough to attend. I am currently in Texas and will be driving home to Florida this summer. Is there a place or site that posts conventions? I would attend anywhere from Central Texas I-35, then along I-10 from Houston to Florida, and down I-75 to Orlando, between June and August.
  9. I had not heard of AAS, and have been thinking about using SP next year. We tried Sequential Spelling and just did not for for us. So, how do AAS and SP compare? TIA,
  10. I had not heard of All About Spelling, and was thinking about using Spelling Power next year. We tried Sequential Spelling, but it just wasn't for us. Where do I find AAS? I Googled it and all I get are reviews. Is there a website? And how does it compare to SP? TIA,
  11. We've been in Killeen since July '07. We're military, and came here from OK, CA before that, GA before that, Germany before that, and Florida is home, lol.
  12. We are from Casselberry, but military and currently in central Texas. Missing home, but not the humidity, lol.
