  1. Link to new thread. I'm quoting as many as possible, so there's a greater chance that you won't miss it. :) This thread has a tendency to get lost. Hope you feel better very soon. Great job everyone!
  2. New thread and new month! :) Please post your workouts here. Everyone welcome.
  3. 2 Miles of Leslie. Yes, definitely better. :)
  4. Hope you feel better very soon. The sore throat stage is always the worst for me. Had a lovely swim yesterday in the ocean. When I got out, the sun was setting and literally touching the horizon. Beautiful. Quite a few tourists taking photos. About to do: Crunch: Pick Your Spot Pilates.
  5. Yep, I used to do her workouts quite regularly until I got injured quite badly. I no longer like her at all. She's too abrasive and harsh for my liking and I just can't take that style anymore. The one thing I do like about her workouts is that they're super-effective in a very short amount of time. I'm about to do Self: Slim & Sleek Fast - an Ellen Barrett workout.
  6. Yes, I should have thought of that. Thank you. :)
  7. I'm planning on making this sometime this week. Here's my breakfast board on pinterest.
  8. I love this thread. I'm currently revamping my breakfast word document. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day to prepare. It's when I have the most energy. Recently, however, we've been in a bit of a breakfast rut and I'm having fun organizing and coming up with new ideas. This thread is great. :) These look really good. My only drawback would be needing those mason jars. Can't get them here. The recipes on the bottom of the page look great also.
  9. Hope your headache went away quickly. How exciting! :) This is me this morning. Hoping to either do an Ellen Barrett DVD or to go for a swim later today. That is funny! Hope you got to do something - yoga, run or whatever.
  10. The older I get, the more I notice that sitting for long periods of time makes me achy and sore. I'm considering getting this book. Mind you, I definitely do not need another fitness/health book. I just happened to be impressed by an article about it. I think it was this article. I think she mentioned how for every 20 minutes of sitting, we should get up and stretch for a while. I need to start doing that more regularly. I used to be very vigilant about that. Yes, this. Yoga, swimming, and gentle exercise helps me a lot.
  11. You're welcome. I read a lot, or should I say used to. I haven't had time lately to catch up on all my health books and sites. I love reading up on this stuff and organizing all the info (when I have time!).
  12. It's gorgeous there. I was there 29 years ago. :) I'll never forget it.
  13. Denise Austin: Shrink Your Female Fat Zones
  14. Didn't really care for the books. Love the TV series. We have most of them on DVD. For myself, this was one of my favorite books, just fabulous. She mentions the books being a bit boring - an entire chapter about making apple strudel or whatever. She seems so nice and funny. I wish I knew her in real life. :) The cover just cracks me up every time. Was going to post it here, but it may be offensive to some.
  15. Yoga soon and later going to the beach - walking and swimming. This made me smile. :)
  16. Don't want you to miss this week's thread. I know it's often hard to find. :)
  17. New thread. Please post your workouts here. Everyone welcome. :)
  18. Yes, definitely better than nothing. That's how it is for me this morning. Only time for Quick Callanetics: Stomach. :)
