Did you add a pinch of sugar? If you made it the temperature of baby bath water, you should see it sort of melting and moving a little within a few minutes. I've only had one bad bag (bulk) of yeast in the past 10 years. You're probably good to go unless your water was too hot.

Some of you said "crockpot beans" and I'm wondering what that means. I soak my beans overnight and then cook them in the crockpot, but I then remove them to cook further.

Do you have a-Monday's chicken, Tuesday's pasta type plan? Please tell me what the rotation is and how it looks in real life. I've lost interest in cooking and need to plan differently so that we don't end up with sandwiches every night.

I can't figure out how to change the preferences for the font color and size in microsoft outlook (I know how to do it in Outlook Express, this is different.) If everyone knows how to change the color of replies from blue to black or how to change the size of incoming mail please share.

I've noticed that too and the only thing I can come up with, besides they're not checking prices elsewhere, is that they want to use their paypal funds and you can't with Amazon and other such places. When I have sold a lot on ebay I prefer to use the paypal funds rather than transfer them into my bank account and then buy on Amazon with a credit card and than transfer from the bank to....you get the idea. I always buy the cheapest, but I have been tempted to buy a "like new" that was the same price as Amazon just so that I wouldn't have to go deal with a credit card.

I have the same problems. Since you mentioned church, I assume you are Christian. I ask Michael the archangel to send angels at each outer corner of our house to guard it and keep problems away and I ask Jesus to wrap his arms around me and I imagine him doing that. It works for me.

So the teacher lectures by writing notes? They don't hear any type of lecture or explanation?

Is this chat based or do the students text message? That is, they hear the teacher and they respond via text? In the literature classes, is their discussion or is it lecture followed by questions?

Love longs to be with the beloved. That's just human nature. While love is an act of the will and should not really depend on feelings or emotions, feelings of attachment will develop when one chooses to love as one does with an infant and growing child. If a parent is upset that the child is not calling and does nothing to remedy the situation, that would be their own problem. In our case it is almost impossible to reach our child by phone as the ones in the dorm hallway are always busy because the college has poor cell phone reception. The kids don't have phones in their rooms. When I was in college I only called home every other week, but then I was not close to my parents and wasn't with them 24/7 with them for 18 years. It's been about 5 weeks since we've heard from ds at college. This is something I never would have predicted a few years ago because he was always seeking us out to chat and enjoyed being with us and his brothers and sisters. I think this is one of those time to let go moments that seemed easier when the children were all younger.
