My second child is using the Saxon sequence and is presently doing Jacobs Geometry 3rd edition in order to have a complete year of geometry - for the same reason you're considering it. My first child did Jacobs Geometry within the Jacobs and Foerster sequence.
I remember very little from my high school geometry, but that hasn't hindered us. The Jacobs text is very clear, and I'm pleased with it. I also have the test bank and Enhanced Teacher's Guide.
