What would happen if James stopped referring clients to you? What if the previously referred clients chose someone else James recommended for their next job? Would your business suffer any or do you have a sufficient client base of your own?
How about flipping it around, if you stop referring to him, will his business suffer? I think he is unreasonable. He gets paid for the part of the job he does, just like you get paid for your part that you do. If only he is hired somewhere to do his part and you are not, than you don't make commission.
Sounds like he wants more money but doesn't want to invest the time to do more marketing on his own to make more money. Easy way out.

Just change the plans are made to the kids are going to be busy with granny she likes to keep them busy.. or leave that part out about plans.

Did the kids fly to get to Granny's? If not, maybe you could have the aunt pick up the kids after time with Granny is done and just extend the time they are out there.

Who said this? The boss or other employees? There is probably more going on here than just incompetence. Maybe the past secretaries did not have a "willing" attitude? :glare:

:) I often thought they should have a key locator like the do for the phone. You press a button and here them beep so you can find them. Of course, that only works if the phones haven't been off the hook and their batteries aren't dead!

I got a refurbished kindle. Had problems with two of them. Both were replaced with refurbished because it was refurbished. Made sense to me. I would have thought based on that if you got it new, they would replace it with a new one. However, based on my experience, it really depends on who you get what they tell you. The plus side is, both times they replaced it quickly. The one I have now works great. I think you can ask if the replacement being sent to you will have had previous owners. They told me how many the one the sent me had.

I'm mostly satisfied. However, I purchased a program.It is a good, but just not what I thought. Thanks goodness is was cheap!

You agreed to participate in an event for Mom’s. You asked if there is a certain number of people that need to attend and are told no, there isn’t a limit. It is an all day event. The cost is over $35.00. You let the organizer know that it isn’t going to work for you to attend within 24 hours of when the event is going to happen. The next day, after the event has occurred, you are contacted and told you need to still pay because you had originally agreed to go. What do you do?
