Aww Bethany! :grouphug: :grouphug: I think I would be on my way to the hospital since mom doesn't always view things with your dad the same way.
-
I'm sorry. Your tribute is beautiful! :grouphug:

Nice!

I would maybe check with the parents and make sure they are o.k. with them having facebook friends. I know someone whose dd did this and they had forbid her.

Sounds like you have a good plan. :grouphug: :grouphug: as you figure this out.

You could contact paypal and let them know what the circumstances are. They will honor letting you handle it it until you give them the go ahead. Also, they let me know what was the last possible date I had until I had to offically let them handle it. I had to do this with something on ebay.

Aww! I hope you all feel better soon. Having to wait more stinks. :grouphug: :grouphug:

Praying here as well!

I don't change anything or clean in someone's house without asking. However, I don't care if someone does it in my home. I also don't care which way the tp is. Interestingly enough, we got a new toliet put in our bathroom and it is really close to the tp holder. So close that if it is a double roll, it will hit your leg. I put the tp on top of the toliet in a basket. It seems people don't like that it is in a basket and put it on the roll. :tongue_smilie:

Nope. We are going to use it for a weekend away.

Ah yes the lovely holiday socializing. I am upstairs putting away clothes in my room. A very solitary endevour which involves no chatting with anyone. Not even the kids. :tongue_smilie: I have today only and than the family entertaining will start again. Here I thought my holiday break would actually be a break from homeschooling and talking all. day. Wrong!

Nice!

Those are really great!

Maybe they got their kids a gift somewhere else for the amount that you had gifted on the Target card? I know that sometimes my kids get gift cards for Wal Mart, but they find something they like better at Target. So, we buy them what they want and use the gift card ourselves. I haven't ever thought of regifting the card though!

Like others said, don't ask. I would just check for a for sale sign or zillow.

My kids choose. I don't always bother either. If I am getting in my warmed up car and just popping in and out of stores, I really don't feel cold.

So, he climbed up the slide the wrong way, right? ;)
Almost 2 1/2 years ago when Youngest was real young he got his cast off. :) A few days later we were at an outdoor festival and he climbed a very tall tree. At least to the point of a second story window. He would then yell out to passer byers, "I got my cast off, I can climb trees again!" I must admit I was somewhatembarrassed. :p (He got his cast in a non tree climbing accident)
:lol:Of course, since it still feels a bit kerfluffley here I think this is helpful too.
Which leads to questions like is that a banana in your kilt or.....????
I let my kids go up the slide when others aren't around. I will add though, that kids going down the slide can cause complications too. For example, standing at the top and not going down as a long line forms below...and not because you are afraid... just because.... and looking down seeing there is a long line of kids below...

I would wrap up box with gift card/money to go shopping after Christmas. Maybe make it a day with lunch.

I agree with others as well. I know that when my daughter was 4, she would cry if one of us wasn't in the nursery/sunday school class. I remember the Pastor told us we had better take control of the situation and not let her get her way. We didn't agree and we either kept her with us or went in with her. We don't regret it!
So totally terrified....after the fact...

That is scary! My ds did this once. We finally found him at the neighbors in their RV. He had crawled in the animal door. We were worried about the same things, pond, electric fence... I am sure I started my grey hairs that day :tongue_smilie: It makes a funny story now, but than. No. way.
Glad everyone is fine. :grouphug:
