Fiona and Misstristyn welcome!

Welcome!

Trying and discarding epic fail curriculum is part of the whole homeschool experience! Welcome :)

Wow! I was worried about your moving into such a toxic situation. It is wonderful that things have worked out better than you could have imagined. I can't believe all the hidden agenda that was going on. Thank goodness all of this came out before you moved. How is the family reacting to your no, we aren't moving?

A pox on their houses.
-
Was just thinking about not seeing you on the boards too. I hope everything is going o.k.
-
I am in the don't ask camp.
-
I'm so sorry! :grouphug:

We keep getting an automated call regarding if you have a senior citizen in your house press.....You can't get a person, even if you hit zero.
-
Double. I had a house with just a single sink. I hated it. I like being able to wash on one side and rinse on the other.

Awe, what a tough situation. I guess I would just try and enjoy him as long as you can. Whatever isn't too pricey, I would look at finding a solution for. :grouphug:

For our troop, it stays with the troop. In fact, the sales made by individuals, doesn't go to that individual but is used for the expenses toward everyone in the group. If someone opts out of selling popcorn, they have pay an amount to help out with the costs.

Yes.. we drink it. The kids didn't start until they were eight.

I just found the dark chocolate chips, so wine and chocolate it shall be!
Everyone seems to be back on track so I may hold this shindig in the school room instead of the walk in closet!
:D Oh the picture of this. I can see it on the news. Homeschooling mom locks herself in closet with chocolate and wine. Kids go crazy and toilet paper neighbors house.
-
Oh yes please!

I'm sorry y'all are still sick. I wondered how everything was going. I hope something works out with the doctor. :grouphug:

I'm glad it went well, but I can only imagine how it felt to be scrambling like a lunatic until the last possible second!
Yea, I wouldn't recommend it unless you are trying to keep busy to keep your mind of other matters. ;)

Everything went well and we had a very enjoyable evening!

If you are having company, it really isn't the best idea to repaint the bathroom (no matter how small), have the kids participate in an online experiment (for which you realize you only have two items needed at home), clean and cook, the the same day company is coming. Company is coming. Company is coming. Oh me. Oh my.
Can't find head to desk so this will have to do!

That is all. I had to come up with something so it was different than the one I already posted :tongue_smilie:

Yep. We had to work out the touching. Dh likes to have arm over me. I have had to tell him it gets to heavy once he goes to sleep. Touching side by side to sleep is ok but legs or arms thrown over me make me feel like I am suffocating. Clearly I have some touching issues

Glad to hear he is in the hospital. :grouphug: Sounds so stressful.

It's because you are not an expert in doggie obedience. You need to send them to the experts who are trained to train dogs. You can't possibly think that you are able to teach a dog all they need to know about obeying your or being a dog because you don't have a degree or proper training. If you knew more about dog training theory and dogs in general - you know like you get in a classroom with other adult people taught by other adult people, you would be better able to teach your dog to obey. We should leave dogs to those people who learned about dogs from other people.
So you really should look all day doggie school after all how will they learn proper dog behavior. They don't just know how to dig, sniff, chew and bark! :tongue_smilie: :001_rolleyes:

Well, the good news is that something had gotten stuck in the vacuum and was causing it to make the screaming noise! Thanks for all the suggestions for future vacuum possibilities!
Tell me that my kids need me.
