I did buy the Ellen McHenry chemistry and organic chemistry to try for next year. They look really good and I am trying to start a campaign to get her to do one for physics. Come on, Ellen, you've got about a year and a half until I need it, er, um, I mean until you would have to publish it... (I'm willing to beta test!)

I pre-bake my crusts for about 10 minutes at about 425 and then put on the toppings and cook it for another 10 minutes or so (still at 425).

We play alot of games like Monopoly, monopoly deal, sorry sliders, perfection, candy land, clue, hot potato, blokus, etc., read, mad libs. It's amazing the stuff you come up with to do when you unplug.:001_smile:

I think background checks are becoming common for most jobs you apply for. Credit checks too and not just for jobs that deal with money and things of that sort.

We get Smithsonian for all of us and so far like it. The kids like Family Fun, it usually has some something in it they want to try. National Geographic we let expire, we were not impressed at all, seemed like it was always the same thing and National Geographic for Kids was terrible. It was mostly just ads for junk and movies.:)

We are going to try to do two next year, astronomy and anatomy, and also do The Elements. If you look on www.jeanniefulbright.com it says physics and chemistry due out in 2011.:)
