Ginevra
I do have one I have made for a bazillion years, but I am tied of it and want to do something else. Something that serves a big crowd. Something that can be refreshed along the way with maybe a fresh ice mold and something poured in. A christmasy appearance would be nice, too, if possible. SparklyUnicorn
My mother used to mix fruity soda with sherbet (or sorbet). Whatever flavors that you like. It can be refreshed with additional sherbet and soda.
LifeLovePassion
We made this at Thanksgiving. http://www.oceanspray.com/Recipes/Corporate/Drinks-Cocktails/Festive-Cranberry-Punch.aspx
Mimm
I mix pineapple juice with sprite and scoops of Bluebell homemade vanilla ice cream. I suppose other lesser vanilla ice cream would work too. :)
Guest
We made this at Thanksgiving. http://www.oceanspray.com/Recipes/Corporate/Drinks-Cocktails/Festive-Cranberry-Punch.aspx This is exactly what was in my head. I see one of the reviews mentions freezing some juice and soda in muffin tins to add in as needed. I really like that idea! Thanks!

I really like that idea! Thanks! This looks awesome with the frozen cranberry wreath! I don't own a bunt pant or any kind of pan/bowl with a wreath shape. Anyone know of a simple way to create the frozen wreath with basic kitchen bowls?

Bensmom
Maybe nest a small bowl in a big one and fill the big bowl. I thought perhaps the liquid would seep under the smaller bowl before it had a chance to freeze and ruin the wreath effect. Maybe the amount of liquid that could seep under the smaller bowl would be so minimal it could be gently chipped away once frozen?
Carol in Cal.
I like to serve hot spiced cider. It's fine without the run. You just simmer clear cider with a few sticks of cinnamon and some whole cloves and allspice for about half an hour, covered. Then I strain it. Then I pour it into a big earthernware bowl and add a couple of apples studded with cloves and some fresh cinnamon sticks, for the looks. Yum! And very festive. If I have some left over, I drink it cold for a couple of days. It's a stronger, less sweet, more complex version of apple juice.
