bookbard Posted July 25, 2017 Share Posted July 25, 2017 So I used to do yoga and personal training before kids - so say 7 years ago. I went back to my first yoga class today. It was actually really hard. I remember it being hard because I'm naturally uncoordinated, but I don't remember it being hard in terms of cardio! I am overweight by about 50 pounds (all put on since my last child, 4 years ago) and I'm starting to realise it's not just eating. I am seriously unfit. When I've gone through non-yoga periods I've ended up barely able to kneel -- I've ended up having to sit on blocks. So tough to do when you remember being able to fold your body around not that long ago! But it gradually comes back.
