What's the best "fun" learn to type program?

You can start with Dance Mat Typing. It's free and fun! My dd learned more from this site than she did from Typing Instructor Deluxe. It is a great place to start though you'll need to get something else after it.

Typing Instructor Deluxe is pretty good too though you might want to try the kids version.

My daughter will finish Dance Mat tomorrow. She only started it a few days ago but she enjoyed it so much that I could hardly drag her away from it. Here is my problem, though: She's practiced home row and all the letters/fingers and I feel that each one had plenty of practice. However, it will end tomorrow and there won't be any more practice. I wish it would go on to another couple of levels where they could do some more after basics typing. But hey, it's free!

Oh, by the way, the keyboard layout on the screen is slightly different than ours: the @ is at the right pinky, for example.

Still, my daughter found it extremely fun and drove right through it!
