warriormom
Do you know of an enjoyable spanish program for 5-6 year olds? FYI They are exposed to spanish since my extended family is Puerto Rican. Family talks to them in spanish...it is helpful but not enough. The answer I always get is *have them speak to them in spanish.* I know that is good advice, but please post an enjoyable program recommendation for my dc. :)
Irishmommy
We got the Teach Me Some... series in hopes that our kids would like it, but by the time we got it, it was too young for them. It is a CD with songs and conversations on it, that has a coloring book to go along with it. We also used a Spanish calendar for a while before switching to Latin. I think you can get the Spanish calendar on Currclick. It just has a theme for each month (I think), and you learn a word a day. Both of those should be fun for your kiddos. BTW, I do have the Teach Me set for sale, cheap if you think it would work for you. ;)
waa510
A friend of mine uses La Clase Divertida with her 5 and 4 yr olds with lots of success. I'm planning on checking out their vendor booth for use with my own DD at conference this summer.
Satori
We're using both La Clase Divertida and Elementary Spanish from Discovery Education Streaming. We end up using Elementary Spanish more. Why? I am not sure, as both are great fun. I feel ES is more of a complete program.
Lisa in the UP of MI
My kids, ages 6yo, 4.5yo, and newly 3yo, are enjoying La Clase Divertida. They love being able to watch tv for school and enjoy the craft and cooking projects as well.

cmarango
Speekee! We are also a bilingual family and Speekee was great for us. It is not curriculum-type spanish instruction and even though it was filmed in Spain I found only a few words that were different from what we would use. I was lucky that I was able to review it for 2 months, but they do have a free trial. Give it a look.
