Good monologue for a little girl?

My 6 year old is going to be auditioning for a local homeschool drama group this week. We need a brief monologue/poem and a song for her to audition with. We've got the song covered, but I'm having trouble coming up with an appropriate monologue. I was painfully shy as a kid so acting would have been my worst nightmare, but she's excited. ;)

Here's a link to some monologues from "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."

Thank you!! I'll be looking at those. Thinking maybe a poem.

It's tomorrow so we gotta get on it. :tongue_smilie: She's naturally good at this though so shouldn't be too hard.

The song we chose was from a Barbie movie, of all things. :D It's from Diamond Castle and I think it's called "Connected".
