Nicoleab2
I was going to order some books from Amazon, but the shipping was very high. I even had a few items qualify for free shipping. Anyone know of a good place to order new or used books besides Amazon? Thanks, Nicole
HollyDay
Barnes and Nobles usually has free shipping offers. I compare them to amazon regularly. Rainbow Resource if they have the books you need.

dani3boys
CBD has a lot of homeschool books, and they often have free shipping on orders over $35.
gingersmom
Another vote for betterworldbooks. My books generally take 1-2 weeks to arrive but even when described as "good" or "ex library book" they have been in amazing condition and look brand new. I have been getting free shipping from them. Joan in GE
I like Betterworldbooks, but not from their website, which is more painful to search since you can't use the ISBN. The Betterworld books are sold on ABE books and are sometimes cheaper there and you still get free shipping in the US. Eg The City sold by Betterworld on ABE is $4.05 with free shipping. The city sold by Betterworld on its own site is $4.48 On Amazon, Betterworld books are much cheaper than on ABE but no free shipping. For overseas shipments, it is worthwhile using Betterworld with ABE as when you group the books, they will reduce the shipping price to less than the MBag price if I was to send it myself. Julie in MN
I was going to order some books from Amazon, but the shipping was very high. I even had a few items qualify for free shipping. Anyone know of a good place to order new or used books besides Amazon? Thanks, Nicole For new books, Amazon has free shipping on orders over $25. That doesn't apply to used or to non-books. Oh, and they don't carry everything that I look at in the Christian book line. But basically, I think Amazon is ruthless in cutting the best deal on new books, and add to that free shipping so it's often cheaper to get more books from them than to pay shipping somewhere else. Teachin'Mine
Has anyone ordered books from Barnes & Noble online and gotten the educator discount? Is there a place for that in the ordering?
