Frontier Mom
Love Librarything here. I have a cue cat and scan in all the books I own. I have also put DVD's in with the tag, DVD. I like how easy it is and I can look it up anywhere when I am trying to decided if I already own a particular book.

Janice in NJ
Books are managed with bookpedia. We're primarily a Mac family, so I don't know if the title/link will help. But we think the software is fantastic. http://www.bruji.com/bookpedia/ Peace, Janice Enjoy your little people Enjoy your journey
kiana
Just a Microsoft Access database with author, title, general subject, and location (so I can *find* it, also includes if on loan, to whom). I used to have it in Excel but SO (professional computer thingy dude) spent so long telling me how much better Access is that I told him I'd enter it in Access if he'd convert the files. He did. I do. I still don't see much difference for MY purposes, which are to record whether I have the book or not so I don't buy it twice. I also have a separate database for my wishlist :)

PeterPan
I use Readerware with a cuecat. It stores on the computer. There may be more advanced software out there, as things change. You might google or do a board search for library software and see what you find.
