sbaloue
Hello Everyone, I don't know if this has been posted before, but here is information about some really interesting looking classes for homeschoolers.:001_smile: http://www.homeschoolscienceacademy.com/OnlineClasses.htm
Sunshine State Sue
Thanks! Ds is interested in sports and I am weak in science, so I'm excited to find an outsourced class that incorporates both. I will add one I discovered. Derek Owens teaches homeschool math, physical science, and physics classes in the Atlanta area and is offering distance learning classes as well: http://www.derekowens.com/0910/index.php
FloridaLisa
Thanks so much for sharing! The classes look awesome and the website is very easy to negotiate. Lisa
Gwen in VA
For chemistry, I strongly recommend Chemadvantage at http://chemadvantage.com/ The teacher who teaches this does the AP chemistry course through Pennsylvania Homeschoolers. He added his Honors Chemistry course because so many homeschoolers were not coming into his AP course with a strong chemistry background. All these look great. I just emailed sciencejim with a question and he got right back to me. Always a plus in my book. I love these boards! sbaloue
I checked out ScienceJim too. It looks very good, and something I will have to keep in mind for the future.
mrscopterdoc
These do look interesting, but they are a bit pricey. The Potter's School has a variety of sicence classes online also and they are cheaper. http://www.pottersschool.org/
