Murphy101
and hate him at the same time. Just when I decide to just stick with Jacob alg 1, dh walks in the door with a bag of books he paid $15 for. for $15 it contained in like new condition: larson intermediate algebra text and study guide (I still need the solution guide, but from amazon that's only $10) lials beginning algebra 9th edition text (another $10 for the solution manual) lials introductory algebra 6th edition (I figure I can get the solutions for another $10) I'm so confused! happy over a good deal on book. so ready to never look at math books again!
Kareni
I'd say that your husband is a good shopper! My teen used Lial's Beginning and Intermediate Algebra (with Jacobs' Geometry in the middle). She tested into College Algebra at the community college. No complaints about Lial's here. Regards, Kareni

BarbinTN
I don't really have a comment about your math woes except to say I'm right there with you:o) I do however LOVE your statement "Yes, they're all ours!!!!" I only have 4 and you would think I have 15 based on the comments folks make when we go anywhere. Geeish, I consider 4 to be like 2 kwim?! Happy Homeschooling!
